NEW - Parity Points!

This Summer, there will be three "Parity Point" flights:

• B Doubles
• C Doubles
• C Trios

The Medalist League with Parity Points flights has completed the test stage. Until today, it has only been offered in only one market – California.

The completion of testing and the availability of Elite dart board software allows Medalist and the Medalist Affiliated Operators to offer this program in all markets. The Parity Points flights will help players build their teams and potentially reduce travel. The Elite dart board software will automatically calculate and apply the proper handicap.

Games are handicapped based upon the combined rating points differential of the players involved in the immediate game (Singles, Doubles or Trios). Note: Parity Points in stacked play will be limited to the difference between the highest rated team and the published lower limit for the flight.

It is the responsibility of the captains to announce the total rating points of their players involved in each game. Example:

All players will be rerated based on stats from the first five weeks of Match Play.

The net downward or upward rating movement of players and teams will establish the Parity Points for the Playoffs and League Finals. A NRP may be used provided that the NRPs final rating is equal to or less than the final rating of the player being replaced. However, no team will be handicapped below the published lower limit for the flight.
